Method: from standing position, raise-up slowly on tip-toes, then down. Don’t jerk or bounce. Repeat with smooth movements 12-times: set of 3-4.
3) Knee-bends:
Method: from standing position, back straight, bend knees slowly. Make slow, deep stoops, going very low. Return slowly to standing position. Do 12 repeats. Go deeper with each repeat.
4) Knee-bends with jumps:
Method: from standing position, perform ‘knee-bends’ above rapidly, keeping close to ground. Spring-up immediately and high as possible. Repeat in quick succession. Sets of 12 and build-up.
Two DONT’S:
Don’t be afraid to incorporate other safe exercises that have worked for you in the past, once they’ll strengthen leg/arm muscles.
Don’t fall into trap of unnecessarily joining a gym or hiring a personal trainer.
